We don’t really mind ants that much, but what we had to go through the last week would have been hard to imagine before. Ants were everywhere! The compost, the garbage, the dishwasher, all over the counters and then they discovered the pantry. Luckily, most of of our food is in airtight containers. Yet, they were able to find traces of edibles here and there. After a long battle against an army of countless Argentine ants we seem to have won the war. Some of them are still in the house, feeding away on Borax that we’ve left them. Eventually, it’s supposed to kill them. I never thought I’d say that about an animal or any living being: But I can’t wait!
