Last Saturday was special! After a week of pouring rain, the sun came out and we got to listen to Madison. What an interesting man and really cool dude, too. The sun’s been out since and now we can do what we’ve been wanting to do for weeks: plant some vegetables! (For the delicious food that our interns Courtney and Daniella made for Madison’s Author Talk, we used our own potatoes, fava beans and oranges! How awesome it is to be a farmer in California!)
